Alice is a research technician at the University of Birmingham assisting with the delivery of work package 2, characterising fuel moisture regimes. Travelling to sites across the UK, Alice will be setting up a drought monitoring network and measuring vegetation moisture levels throughout the year.
Alice graduated with a BSc Biology degree from the University of Bristol, where she focused on ecology and completed a final year project on restoration grazing. Since graduating, Alice spent one season working as a field ecologist before joining the project in early 2021, keen to continue undertaking fieldwork and contribute to a greater understanding of wildfires.
