Luke Everett is a Research Technician at the University of Birmingham assisting with the delivery of Work Package 2, characterising fuel moisture regimes. Travelling to sites across the UK, Luke samples material across the drought monitoring network, measuring vegetation moisture levels throughout the year.

Graduating with a degree in environmental sciences from the University of East Anglia, Luke went on to support research in technician roles with a plant breeding company, at an agricultural research institute and running a plant growth facility at a university research centre.
