Rayanne is currently working as a PhD student and research technician in the wildFIRE Lab at the University of Exeter. After graduating from the University of Exeter in 2018 with an MMath in Mathematics, Rayanne specialises on Earth system and climate modelling with an interest in Earth system feedbacks.
Since joining the wildFIRE Lab, Rayanne’s research has focused on fire feedbacks and the relationship between fire, vegetation and oxygen. In particular, using models to investigate the role in which fire has played in keeping atmospheric oxygen levels relatively constant through time.
